Client data never leaves the adviser's browser
This is the part most tools cannot offer. GlobeResume has no server that receives resume content: everything is processed and stored on the adviser's own device. Nothing to breach, no processor agreement to negotiate, and one less system holding your clients' personal information under the DPDP Act, GDPR or UK GDPR.

University and college career centres
If you advise international students, you can point them at the free builder and the international student guide at no cost and with no signup, forever. Nothing here is gated behind an account, and there is no advertising on the site. If your office wants watermark-free exports for the resumes you prepare with students, that is what the institution licence covers. Email us and we will sort out something sensible for a public institution.
Common questions
- How does a team licence work in practice?
- You get one licence key. Each adviser opens globeresume.com, clicks the licence button above the preview, and pastes the key once on their own machine. Their downloads are watermark-free from then until the licence expires. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
- Where is our clients' data stored?
- On the adviser's own device, in their browser's local storage. We have no server that receives resume content, so client details are never uploaded to us, never stored by us and never passed to a third party. You can verify this yourself: open the builder with your network tab open and watch that nothing is sent.
- Can we get a proper invoice with our company details?
- Yes. Payments run through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, so you receive a compliant invoice with tax handled for your country, including GST for Indian businesses and VAT in the EU and UK. Tell us your billing details in the enquiry and they will be on the invoice.
- What happens when the licence expires?
- Downloads simply return to carrying the free-plan watermark. Nothing is deleted, no work is lost, nothing auto-renews and no card is kept on file. We will email you before the date so you can decide.
- Do you offer a trial?
- The whole builder is free to use without a licence, so your advisers can test every country and format before you buy anything. The only difference a licence makes is removing the watermark and enabling Word export. Try it properly first; we would rather you bought it knowing exactly what it does.
- Can you add a country we place into?
- Possibly, and licence holders get asked first. Country research is the slow part rather than the code, so tell us which market matters to you and we will be honest about the timeline.
