About GlobeResume

GlobeResume is a free, country-specific resume builder. It exists because the same person, with the same skills, gets interviews in one country and silence in another, and the difference is usually the document, not the candidate.

The problem we solve

Resume conventions are not universal. They are opposites. A photo is expected on a German Lebenslauf and gets your application discarded in the United States. Australia wants two to three pages; France wants one. Gulf recruiters filter on a visa-status line that Western resumes never mention. Japan uses a standardized form where achievements do not even belong. Job seekers applying across borders usually learn these rules only after months of unexplained rejections.

GlobeResume encodes those rules. You pick the target country, fill in one form, and the builder applies that market's real conventions: the right length, the right sections, the right date format, photo or no photo, and the details recruiters there expect. A live A4 preview shows exactly what you will download.

How it works

Three steps. Choose a country from the ten currently covered (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Australia, India, UAE and Gulf, Japan). Enter your details once; the form itself adapts to the country, asking for a photo and birth date where customary and hiding them where they would hurt you. Then export to PDF for applying or Word for editing. Your details carry over when you switch countries, so preparing applications for several markets takes minutes, not days.

Privacy is the architecture, not a promise

GlobeResume runs entirely in your browser. There are no accounts, no tracking cookies, and no server that ever receives your resume. Your details and photo are stored only on your own device and can be wiped with one click. We could not sell or leak your data even if we wanted to, because we never have it. The full details are in our privacy policy, which is short because there is little to disclose.

We believe in being clear about boundaries. GlobeResume is not an immigration or visa service, and nothing here is legal advice. Our guidance describes general market convention, and individual employers can always differ; the job posting in front of you outranks any guide. We format your experience honestly, and we do not guarantee interviews or offers. What goes on the resume, and its truthfulness, is always yours.

Who builds this

GlobeResume is built by an independent developer who has lived the problem: applying for engineering roles across several of the countries this tool now covers, and discovering the hard way that every market wanted a different document. The tool that should have existed then is the one you are using now.

What's next

More countries are on the roadmap, prioritised by request. The core builder stays free. Planned paid extras, like watermark-free downloads and AI-assisted rewriting, are listed on the pricing page and will never gate the basics.
